I understand that you are having an issue with watching content for the Sky Go app. Let's see if we can figure out what is going on.
As with any app that is downloaded from the App Store, start with closing out the app entirely and relaunching it. Then move on to restarting your iPad. I would also make sure that your iPad and the app are up to date. One of the last steps to try is to delete app and then download it again. Question: Q: Using sky go & AirPlay mirroring Hi I'm trying to use my Apple TV to view my sky sports, I've got a sky go account set up on my iPad I've set up airplay/mirroring, when I try & watch it I can hear the program on my tv but the app stays on screen saying hdmi not supported so I can't watch only hear.

Why won’t my HDMI cable work with Sky Go?

Sky TV hasn’t cited in an official statement why an HDMI cable won’t work when trying to watch Sky Go on your TV.

The reason for HDMI and Sky Go being incompatible is most likely a way of protecting the Sky Go content. Sky may be concerned with what customers could do with the Sky Go content. For all they know, customers could be sharing content with other people who aren’t paying customers by recording shows.

We understand this can be frustrating when you pay for the service and then you can’t use it the way you want to. Many Sky Go customers wish to watch the service on a bigger screen and an HDMI cable enables just that.
