I have now lost faith of humanity.

I'm sure origin is one of the reasons why steam now has refunds

Origin is a lot less cluttered but I pretty much never use it
There's honestly nothing really bad that I can think of, I just don't have any games for it

Hmm wasn't the policy before the change 'Refunds are not applicable except where required by law' or something along the lines?

I don't believe refunds were ever given besides special occasions, so even if it said that they didn't follow it

Steam of course. Everybody who says Origin either hasn't used Steam much, hasn't used Origin much, is crazy, is being payed by somebody to say that, or is stupid.

I don't have games on either of them, so I don't know

I don't use Origin 'cause there's barely any decent games on there.
And Steam doesn't get used that often 'cause the games I do want I can get on console (and also none of my friends game on PC).

At least origin doesn't have bad Indy and anime games.
or any others
(there actually few).
Steam quite contrary had also movies in, software(from free to pretty expensive)including Blender, books, forums, even music player :P
if you're look closely, Steam consist several different services, augmented by community, helping run some, including VAC forensic.
Origin and Steam had one common point: they are content distribution platforms, but Origin are doing ONLY that, compared to.
